His NXT stint didn’t end the way he wanted to either as Ali was released back in September. Now, Ali has finally announced his World Tour Campaign for 2024 following his WWE release.

Mustafa Ali’s arrival in NXT was met with a lot of positive reactions, but fans were disheartened by the fact he didn’t win the NXT North American Championship. Ali announced back in September that he is no longer working with WWE, shocking fans all over the world.

WWE NXT higher-ups found out about Mustafa Ali’s release right before he did. Mustafa Ali’s WWE release was also big surprise in NXT. Fans also wondered what Ali would end up doing next.

Mustafa Ali took to Twitter and uploaded a promotional video, where he announced his World Tour Campaign for 2024 – where he was seen using his controversial political gimmick in WWE which was quickly scrapped. Ali called out the likes of Alex Shelley, Vikingo, Matt Cardona, Will Ospreay, Mike Bailey, Zack Sabre Jr, and Swerve Strickland during the promotional video – building up excitement.

This is definitely major news for Mustafa Ali, as fans will finally get to see him in a way that he originally envisioned – no longer tied down by WWE’s strict regime and restrictive workplace.

Mustafa Ali has already secured matches in different wrestling promotions. He’s set to face Gringo Loco in GCW on January 12, take part in a PROGRESS Wrestling event on January 28, go up against Mike Bailey in Prestige Wrestling on February 25, and compete in a C4 event on January 19.
