The Great star delivered yet another extravagant look at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Thursday night, when she put a futuristic spin on French Riviera style with a bold statement dress from Paco Rabanne’s fall/winter 2023 ready-to-wear runway.

The incredible metallic piece was completely covered in silver, feather-shaped fringe, which glimmered and swished to and fro as Fanning moved about. The dress’s bustier additionally featured ornate metalwork in the form of a circular choker holding up a metallic floral adornment, as well as matching metallic floral pasties.

More metallic pieces finished off the look, including strappy silver stilettos and a chainmail handbag.

Meanwhile, Fanning’s glam was comparatively minimal, with the actor simply wearing shimmery eye shadow, dusty pink blush, and a rose-colored lip. Her long platinum blonde hair was styled straight and worn down across her shoulders.

Fanning shared a snippet of the look with fans on Instagram. “Now THISSSSS is a partyyyy dressss @pacorabanne 🪩🪩🪩🪩🪩,” she wrote in the caption.

The actor, who has long worked with celeb stylist Samantha McMillen, has been enjoying a sartorially successful run in Cannes.

For the premier film festival’s opening night, Fanning walked the iconic red carpet in a custom-made Alexander McQueen ball gown. The magnificent dress included an intricately beaded bodice designed in the shape of orchids, which topped off a voluminous blush-pink skirt embroidered with even more matching silver beads. She completed the look with diamond jewelry, including a choker necklace, bracelet, and ring.
